Commercial License

The Commercial License is issued to an individual or a company which wants to engage in commercial trade activity, goods can be imported and sold in the UAE, exported for sale outside the UAE, or traded solely within the UAE.

If you are a manufacturer, importer or exporter of goods and services, you will need to obtain a commercial license in Dubai. You can also get a commercial license if you want to become a trader and sell products in the UAE.

Documents Required for Commercial License:

The documents required to get the Commercial License are:
 
  1. A filled out the application form with the company’s name in Arabic and English.
  2. The original lease contract for the company’s registered address.
  3. Sponsor/partner MOA.
  4. Dubai Municipality Department sanctioning the permit for the use of office space as a business address for the company.
  5. Providing the License fee proof.

Renewal of the Commercial license in Dubai:

A commercial license has one-year validity from the date it was issued, and it can be renewed. A renewed trade license in Dubai has a four-year validity. In order to apply for renewal of a Dubai trade license, the following documents are required:
 
  1. The original or a copy of the trade license,
  2. A copy of the registered address lease contract.
  3. Concerned authority approvals if required.
  4. Information regarding employee accommodations for companies with foreign shareholder.
